Graduate Academic Mentor

Smile Education South Yorkshire have an excellent opportunity available for Graduates looking to begin their career within the education sector. We are looking for recent graduates from 2022 onwards who are passionate about education and looking to kickstart their career!

We have an exciting opportunity available for dedicated graduates to work as a Graduate Learning Mentor within a fast-paced and inspiring secondary school environment. You will be supporting pupils from KS3 and upwards in delivering pre-planned learning materials. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering a PGCE or other teaching training routes. Allowing you to familiarise yourself with the secondary curriculum and immerse yourself into a large secondary setting which benefits from being part of a large multi-academy trust.

Graduates from any course are encouraged to apply, particularly those from a creative arts background such as performing arts. This is a full-time role with a salary expectation of between £85-100 per day.

What to expect from applicants?

We would like applicants to be a recent graduate, having graduated anytime from 2022 onwards. Prior experience of working with children or young adults is beneficial but not essential.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:

-        A recent graduate (having graduated from 2022 onwards)

-        A genuine and real interest in working, both within he education sector, and with children and young adults

-        A positive attitude and driven nature
