Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment? We're looking for a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team in Sheffield!

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child can reach their full potential. You'll work closely with teachers to deliver high-quality education and provide personalized support to students as they navigate their Key Stage 2 journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual students and the class as a whole.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to develop key skills in literacy, numeracy, and other areas of the curriculum.
  • Assist with classroom management and behavior support, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help to create and maintain learning resources and displays that enhance the learning experience for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure the holistic development and well-being of all students.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal growth of every child.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
